Ferðamálafélag Húnaþings vestra hefur gefið út smáforrit sem nefnist „Hunathing“. Smáforritið hefur að geyma allar helstu upplýsingar um Húnaþing vestra og þá þjónustu sem þar er í boði. Tilgangur smáforritsins er að auka jákvæða upplifun ferðamanna á svæðinu sem og að auðvelda þeim sem leiðsegja gestum um svæðið starf sitt.
Verkefnið var styrkt af Atvinnu- og nýsköpunarráðuneytinu, Nýsköpunarmiðstöð Íslands, Húnaþingi vestra og Samtökum sveitarfélaga á Norðurlandi vestra.
Finna má smáforritið bæði fyrir Apple og Android undir nafninu „Hunathing“ eða með því að nota QR kóða á meðfylgjandi mynd.

Visit Hunathing has launched the app “Hunathing”. The app contains a wealth of information about the region and the services and attractions on offer. The purpose of the app is to enrich the visitor experience and to help information centers and other information providers to share more detailed insights.
The project was funded by the Ministry of Industries and Innovation, Innovation Centre Iceland, the municipality of Hunathing vestra, and the North West Region Association.
The app is available for bot iOS and Android. Search for “Hunathing” or use the QR codes above.
