Anita Hunor er ungversk listakona sem býr á Korsíku í Frakklandi. Þetta er í þriðja skipti sem hún kemur til Ólafsfjarðar til að mála og sýna verkin sín á Kaffi Klöru.
Hún sækir innblástur í vatnslitamyndirnar sínar til íslenska landslagsins, sérstaklega til fjallana í kringum Ólafsfjörð og rólega fallega fjarðarins.
Í verkum sínum leggur hún áherslu á birtuna og andrúmsloftið, og reynir að toga áhorfendur inn í veröldina sína og leyfa þeim að sjá landslagið frá hennar sjónarhorni.
Anita Hunor is a Hungarian painter living in Corsica, France and this is the third time she has come to paint in Ólafsfjörður and exhibit her works in Kaffi Klara. Her watercolours are inspired by the Icelandic landscape, especially the snowy mountains around Óló. She keeps coming back here because of the inspiration she finds in this beautiful and calm fjord. In her paintings she puts emphasis on lights and atmosphere and tries to make the viewer leap into her world and see the landscape through her eyes. Besides watercolour, she works with ink, pastel and gouache. She has made a lot of research on the pigments she is using and is always happy to talk about colours. You are likely to find her in the café eating carrot cake and drinking Kaffi Klara’s famous hot chocolate.
